Driving Retail Sales Through Strategic Influencer Activations
While working at Newell Brands, I supported a portfolio of school and craft supply brands—including Sharpie, Elmer’s, EXPO, Prismacolor, and more. I led a partnership with Michaels craft stores to drive both in-store and online sales through a coordinated influencer campaign during the height of the pandemic.
This included planning and hosting 20+ virtual influencer events, managing talent communications, and collaborating with internal teams to promote each activation across social media and retail channels. The campaign drove a 300% increase in online sales and earned Newell’s internal award for Best Marketing Campaign at the annual Leadership Summit.
